In Winter 2009, we had the pleasure of video recording the Art of Time Ensemble performing "Korngold: Source & Inspiration" together with artists Danny Michel, Martin Tielli & John Southworth. The show took place at the Enwave Theatre, Harbourfront Toronto and was recorded by CBC Radio 2 as part of their Concerts on Demand series.

In Nov 2008, we had the pleasure of doing a video recording of Kevin Fox - at CBC's Glenn Gould Studio in Toronto for the new cd release of "Songs for Cello & Voice". Kevin was joined on stage by 4 musicians playing 2 cellos, 1 upright bass & percussion. CBC radio recorded the event for future broadcast/podcast.

In Fall 2008, we videotaped Sho, Mo & the Monkey Bunch - at Brock University in St. Catharines Ontario. An edit of the song "Honk Honk" and "Poopie Diapers" has recently been completed.
In Spring/Summer 2008, Danny Michel released a new album called "Feather, Fur & Fin". CBC Radio 2 recorded a live performance at Toronto's Modclub for broadcast/ podcast. Here is a clip from that performance ~ I'm 'a Love You Anyway:
The DVD "Danny Michel & the Black Tornados - LIVE" was nominated for a Canadian Juno Award in 2008.We didn't win - but perhaps next time and it sure was cool to be nominated. The trip to Calgary in April was a lot of fun!
The dvd was recorded over 2 nights in 2006 in Toronto with 10 video cameras and multitracked. Danny was joined on stage by a wide assortment of talented artists and musicians including Luke Doucet, Emm Gryner, Kevin Fox, Kurt Swinghammer, Erin McKeown, Lindy, Andy Stochansky, Damhnait Doyle, Terence Gowan, Andrew Aldridge, John Obercian, Damon Richardson, Maury Lafoy, and Rob Carli.
A 2-hour DVD was completed and released in 2007 containing highlights from both Toronto shows plus plenty of "bonus & on-the-road footage" from across Canada.
